Long weekend holidays in 2017

Let’s admit it, in Singapore we do need to be extra strategic when planning our holidays and leave days. So many things to do, so little time! In 2017, we have seven — YES, SEVEN! — weekends that you can start planning for three to four days of getaways.

If you’re feeling extra in need of a longer trip, sacrificing two to four days of leave can get you up to NINE DAYS OF TRAVEL too!

For a short weekend getaway

Without having to take an extra day of leave, you can get seven weekends of quick getaway around the region. We’d advise checking out the weather and booking for flights in advance for a fulfilling and well-budgeted short trip in Asia! Maybe add on an extra day of leave to extend that getaway. It’ll be worth it!

January: New Year’s Day on 1st, Sunday. Following Monday is a public holiday.

For a longer weekend holiday

But if you have more leave days to spare than most of us, fill in your leave form for extra two to four days and get up to nine days of travel. Oh yes, that’s more than a week for four days of leave. Score! All of the holidays featured below fall on Wednesdays. Take leave on Monday and Tuesday and/or Thursday and Friday and happy travelling!
