Is it just me or is it getting increasingly difficult to find hotel promo codes? While preparing for my upcoming Hong Kong trip, I searched high and low for hotel promo codes on my favorite sites, i.e. Airbnb, Agoda and Expedia – and I couldn’t find any.

For Airbnb, there were only promo codes to new users and for Agoda, the discount is quite disappointing at just 5% – 7%. Where did all the 10+% discount codes go?

Thank goodness I found Expedia. Here are TWO ways you can save more on your Expedia hotel booking!

(i) Glorious, glorious promo codes!

Good news is that you’ll get at least 10% off your hotel booking with the hotel promo codes I’m gonna be sharing with you but the bad news is .. it’s only applicable for the respective bank cardmembers. Here we go:

 Do note that promo codes will not be applicable on certain chain hotels so you may want to go through their T&Cs before you get too excited 😉

Not sure where do you apply the promo code?

You should enter the promo code on the payment page. Click on the “Enter a voucher code” link and you should be prompted to enter the promo code you got from the link above ✌

P/S: If you have selected to ‘Pay Later’ (some hotels allow that), you may not see the ‘Enter a voucher code’ option.

(ii) Be a Expedia member

Usually being a member means you give the site the consent to bombard your inbox with plenty of emails so be mentally prepared for that. BUT, being a Expedia member allows you to see members-only pricing whenever you are logged in!

That’s not all – you’ll get to earn points with every hotel booking that you make and ultimately you can use these points to redeem for additional discounts or free stay 😀
