If your question is how..

.

#1. How do I use the free data overseas?

It’s really simple. Just slot in the sim card to your mobile device and it will automatically be connected to the network partner so you enjoy enjoy the complimentary data! To avoid any unnecessary charges (from data used on other network partners), we highly recommend  that you turn on the Network Lock mode (you can access it from the M1 Prepaid Portal).

.

#2. I’m going Hong Kong. Can the free data be used there as well?

YES! The free data can be used for your travel in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia and Taiwan. Do note that the 2GB complimentary data is only valid for the first 20 days. Therefore, you may want to purchase the card a day or two before your trip. Otherwise, you can always top up with a data pack which you can read more in question 4 and 5 below.

#5. What are the charges if I’m going to a city
that’s NOT included under the free data plan?

We know how much you guys love heading to Thailand, South Korea, Japan and Australia so don’t worry folks, those 4 countries are covered in the roaming packs! The even better news is, you get 10 minutes of free call so you don’t have to resort to Skype/Whatsapp call everytime.

Most importantly, prices are very affordable. You know you may not get an overseas SIM card at just $15 and this saves you the trouble of hunting for them. Imagine, being connected the very moment your plane lands. 🙂

My parents think I travel too much but if not now, then when? New experiences excite me the most and that's why I rarely visit the same city twice unless (a) they have awesome food and (b) they have awesome food.
