Chillax 3D2N Bangkok Itinerary For Those Who Are Tired of a Packed Itinerary

If you are reading this, you are either tired of a crazy packed itinerary where rest stops is/are non-existent or you really just need a good break. I’ll be honest – it’s so difficult to NOT have a full Bangkok itinerary because there’s just so much to do/eat/see. But if you really need a break and have been to Bangkok enough time to visit the must-see for the 10th time, here’s the chill and relaxed 3D2N Bangkok itinerary that you need.

Day 1 – Pratunam area

Wake yourself up at Factory Coffee Cafe

Of course, what do we need more to kick start the day? Good coffee and good pastries. Wanna know how serious they are about their coffee? I requested a stirrer for my iced milk coffee but was advised that the coffee is best drank as it’s served.

We would also highly recommend their Charcoal Croissant with Thai Milk Tea custard because really, who does thai milk tea better than the Thais themselves?

  • New Address: 49 Phayathai Rd, Khwaeng Thanon Phaya Thai, Khet Ratchathewi, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10400, Thailand
  • Opening hours: 8.30am – 6pm daily

Catch a movie in First Class

Yes, watch a movie in First Class – at the price of our Gold Class tickets, but with so much more to offer. At just about $75 for a pair of First Class tickets, you’ll get access to the lounge with free flow drinks and snacks (just see the buffet spread above) – on top of the fresh hot popcorn for your movie and extremely comfortable seats. Best thing of all? SF Cinema is right in Centralworld – right smack between Siam and Pratunam!

Go window shopping at CentralWorld Mall

Source

If you are wondering why CentralWorld when there are so many other popular shopping malls, here’s why – it’s precisely because it’s not THAT popular. It’s not crowded and yet there’s everything you need here. A jumbo supermarket, a food court, a cinema (don’t forget the First Class movie), After You (their amazing Shibuya toast), Boots. There’s enough shopping to take up your whole day, trust me.

Go back to your room and Rest

That’s right! After a day of shopping, movie and good meals, you should head back to your bed and do what you came to Bangkok to do – to get away and chill.

Day 2 – Let’s go on a ride

Fill your tummy at The Commons

Now that you are all recharged, let’s take a short ride to The Commons to spoil your tummy! From pancakes to lobster rolls, there’s definitely something you’ll love to start your day with here. Heard of Roast? This is where they started and they still have a huge presence here – be prepared to queue for their brunch menu on weekends.

  • Address: 335 Soi Thonglor 17 | Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
  • Operating hours: 8am – 1am (opening hours vary for the cafes)

Overdose on cuteness at the new Corgi Cafe

Science shows that owning a pet can be beneficial for your mental and physical health so of course we are gonna add a pet cafe to the itinerary! The Husky Cafe and Big Dog Cafe were all the hype before the Corgi Cafe came into play. And we can certainly tell why it’s so popular because the 12 resident corgis are so crazy fluffy and adorable! You’ll get one whole hour to chill with the doggies so yeap – another restful hour (filled with cuteness).

  • Address: 338/1 Kallapaphruek Road Bang Wa, Phasi Charoen, Bangkok 10160, Thailand
  • Time slots: 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm + additional 10.30am slot on weekends only

Feast on cheap & oh-so-good local fare at Jeh O Chula for dinner/supper

I was quite skeptical when my friends highly recommended Jeh O because how can it be so good yet I’ve never heard of it? To cut the long story short, my verdict is that it is really a must-go. And the tomyum soup with mama noodles (basically maggi mee) is a must-order. I’m a small eater and the tomyum goes so well with the noodles that I finished the whole thing in no time. This place works like a thai-style cze char so there’s plenty of meat/egg/vege dishes for you to take your pick too! By the way, they do take reservations so do try to reserve early because we queued over an hour and it really isn’t fun. 😉

  • Address: Banthat Thong Road, 113 Charat Muang Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330
  • Operating hours: 5.30pm – 2am daily

Day 3 – End the trip with (more) rest

Try a different kind of breakfast at Lhong Tou

What’s better than dimsum when it comes to a slow-paced breakfast? It was the deep-fried liu sha bao that got our attention but it was the decor and service that made us enjoy our last morning in Bangkok so much. They don’t have an extensive menu but everything on the menu was pretty good. By the way, when we say “different”, we aren’t just referring to the cuisine. Just look at those interesting seats!

  • Address: [Main branch] 538 Yaowarat Rd, Khwaeng Samphanthawong, Khet Samphanthawong, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10100, Thailand
  • Operating hours: 8am – 10pm daily

Massage all the stress away at Just Relax

No one leaves Bangkok without a good ol’ thai massage unless they have no time to (and end up regretting it). There’s the really affordable thai massage which you can get along Baikyoke Sky hotel at just 250 baht for an hour, but you know you can’t control the quality of massage there. So, if you are here in Bangkok to pamper yourself, why don’t you go for something better? Just Relax have a couple of branches at Siam/Pratunam and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into paradise the moment you step into their zen shopfront.

Last minute shopping and head to the Airport

We all hate the feeling of having to make our way to the airport but hey, you had a relaxing holiday and being rejuvenated is all that matters! 😉 Just set aside enough time (at least 3 hours before your flight time) so you don’t give yourself a fright at the final leg of your trip.

My parents think I travel too much but if not now, then when? New experiences excite me the most and that's why I rarely visit the same city twice unless (a) they have awesome food and (b) they have awesome food.
